Absolutely fantastic work and could not be happier! We live in a 1920 bungalow. We have an elevated basement with exposed block. We also have brick work in the front and a brick chimney. We needed repair/replacement of some blocks and bricks and needed to have several areas re-sealed. It is not easy finding someone with the expertise in masonry and tuckpointing, but we did obtain a couple estimates. When Matthew performed the estimate, we knew he was the one we would select. His knowledge was clearly above the others. He also had a vision for the project that clearly aligned with ours. While others wanted to replace a large number of blocks and bricks, Matthew was able to show us how many could be salvaged and repurposed. We were able to maintain much of the original block and brick to keep the authentic look. We also replaced the (very old and ugly) glass block windows in the basement with new, custom glass block windows. The old ones had wood frames attached to the block, permitting water damage and rot. The new ones let in twice the amount of light and are directly sealed to the block. Matthew and his team worked exceptionally quickly and in an amazing and professional manner. He and his team were open, honest, and quite fun to have around for the project. The end project greatly exceeded our expectations. The quality is amazing. The icing on the cake was the price. Matthew was exceptionally competitive and beat other bids, while providing additional services not quoted by others. We will use Krown Masonry in the future and will recommend them to everyone we know! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I connected with Matt when looking for help with the exterior flaws my home needed addressed in order for me to sell it. Matt was upfront about the situation and how he could help. He was not only more affordable than the other guys, but he was also more motivated willing to schedule around my needs. With an accepted offer in hand, I needed to move ASAP and Matt did not miss a beat. He had a crew here as soon as I gave him the word and did a great job. Thanks to Krown Masonry I was able to have my chimney rebuilt, lintels replaced, and sale secured. We were very impressed with the tuckpointing work Krown Masonry did on our all-brick home. During the pre-quote inspection, the owner took the time with me to explain what needed repair, how the repair was going to be done and why it was necessary. We also needed to replace a long windowsill on our 85-year-old house and Matt found a red brick that was so close to the originals, it's hard to tell them apart. And when the job was done, the crew did a great job cleaning up the area. I found Krown Masonry reliable, honest and delivered what was promised at a very good price. We will definitely use the again if we have a new project.

We are extremely happy with the work that was done repairing our front steps. Matt was great at communicating exactly what needed to be done and was able to complete the job within a couple of days. The quality of the work is very impressive. Not only were they able to fully repair the damage, but they also made sure that the new flagstones and exterior paint were a perfect match to the existing steps. They even pressure washed and painted some stone window sills on the side of our house that had accumulated moss. I would definitely recommend them for any future projects.

Contacted Matt to repair tuck pointing on my lannon stone 2 story house where mortar was missing and a robin had built a nest in the cracks. Matt also noticed an area below the step into the building where lannon stone was missing and said he could repair that too. Crew showed up on time and completed work in a timely manner. All the work was more than done well especially around the step which looks better than new. I will definitely contact them again to replace railings on the front porch and the porch on the rear of the house.

Matt and his crew did an amazing job tuckpointing our brick home. We had previously had tuckpointing done by a handyman who used a red mortar that assured us the color would fade and match the existing brick. It never faded so we hired Matt to fix all the unmatching red. He took the time to ensure the color matched and even came out to address after we called with concerns. He was fast and responsive to every question we had during the entire process. Overall it was a fantastic experience and will consider him for future projects!

Reached out to Matt for a quote on some work I was interested in getting done. He came out the same day to give me a quote. I needed chimney repair (almost a whole new rebuild) and brick tuckpointing. Out of all of the quotes I received I feel he was the most honest in telling me what I needed done as a first time homeowner! Him and his crew got the job done for both in a timely manner and even matched the tuckpointing on my side porch with the original color of the rest of the brick work on the house !!! Me & my husband hired Krown Masonry for chimney issues that were persistent. We have had several companies come out and they were either booked out or out of our budget. Matt came out and said he will address the issue in 72 hours. His numbers were within our budget and the chimney looks great. Krown did some basement block tuckpointing for me. All 4 walls got some. Also have an I-beam running across the ceiling of basement. On the north end it was pushing down on the block and caused step cracks. Krown tuckpointed the block and installed a new support pole to stabalize the I-beam. A couple days later after mortar set, they came back and painted the new mortar to match the basement walls. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Matt and his team were awesome! We had an emergency fix needed for one of our chimneys (stone was falling down!). He was quick to respond, kept the communication up through the job, completed it quickly and was reasonably priced for such a complex job on a historic house. The job looks great. Oh, and this was during the holidays. Most other contractors didn't even call me back. I will definitely use them again!

We had Krown Masonry clean indoor brick in a house we purchased from a smoker and WOW did they do an amazing job! The smell is completely gone and the brick looks amazing. We had some issues with the brick window sills on our home leaking. Matt came the day after I called to come give me a quote. He was working on the job the day after that and finished completely within 4 days. We love the way they look and the best part is we have no more leaking window sills.
